Who We Are

Hanging hand towels have been around forever, but most are the same thing: a thin towel with a crochet or lace top — more decoration than towel.

I found this out the hard way, making towels for family and gifts and never happy with the same tired, same-looking tops everyone else had. I wanted something different — a hand towel that's a full towel, quality cotton, enough of it to actually dry your hands, with a modern design and a closure that keeps it exactly where you put it. Not a novelty item. Not a cheap-looking crochet top. A proper towel that happens to look good.

That's As Fancy As.

I sold my first one on Etsy in June 2020, under my other business, Create A Circus. Since then,  thousands have gone out worldwide — with exactly one reported fault. In 2024, I gave the towels their own brand, As Fancy As, and built this site to match.

Most customers don't stop at one colour; they come back for a second, a third, sometimes one in every colour.

Every order goes out with a handwritten thank you note. Small business, made properly.
